Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PropMachine collects, why, who processes it, and what rights you have over it. It covers both the PropMachine iOS app and this website.

1. Who we are

In this policy, "PropMachine", "we", "us" and "our" mean the PropMachine service. Tarik Ahmatovic is the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything in this document, contact privacy@propmachine.io.

2. The app

Your account

When you first open the app it creates an anonymous account — a random user ID and a device identifier. You do not need to give a name or an email address to use PropMachine.

You may optionally add an email address and password so you can use the app on more than one device. Where an account exists, we store:

• the user ID and device identifier;
• your email address, if you chose to add one;
• a hashed password and sign-in tokens — never the password itself;
• your subscription status;
• the picks, tracked bets and parlays you save inside the app.

Subscriptions

PropMachine Pro is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details — payment is handled entirely by Apple. RevenueCat manages subscription status on our behalf and receives your app user ID and your Apple purchase receipts.

AI features

The written analysis and prop explanations are generated by Anthropic. To produce them we send match and player statistics. No personal data is sent for this.

If you use the bet-slip scanner, the photo or screenshot you upload is sent to Anthropic so the text on it can be read. The image is used only to read the bet slip and return the result to you; we do not keep the image after processing.

Diagnostics

We process basic technical data — device model, operating system version, app version and crash information — to keep the app stable.

What the app does not do

There are no advertising SDKs in the app. We do not sell your data, and we do not collect precise location. We never ask for bookmaker credentials, and the app does not connect to any bookmaker account.

3. This website

• Waitlist. If you join the waitlist we collect your email address, and optionally the leagues you tell us you follow. We use these only to announce the launch. The list is held by Resend, our email provider. Ask us at support@propmachine.io and we will remove you.
• Meta Pixel. Loaded only if you accept the cookie banner, and used to measure our advertising. See section 4.
• Cloudflare. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which also provides us with aggregate traffic analytics.
• A cookie-free counter. We count how many people reach the signup field and how many submit it. This stores a number and nothing else — no cookie, no identifier, no IP address. It tells us how many, never who.

4. Cookies and advertising

This website sets no cookies at all unless you accept them. Nothing non-essential loads before you choose, and declining leaves the site fully usable.

If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). It records that you visited the site and, if you join the waitlist, that a signup happened.

• What it receives: your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view here, and a cookie identifier. If you use Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta may be able to link that activity to your account.
• What it does not receive: we do not send your email address or your league preferences to Meta. The signup event records only that a signup occurred, not who it was.
• Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the stored choice and you will be asked again. You can also control how Meta uses data for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

5. Legal bases for processing

• Performance of a contract — running your account, your subscription and the features you use.
• Consent — waitlist emails, optional league preferences, and the advertising cookie described above. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, diagnostics and improving the product, balanced against your rights.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with data brokers. We share it only with providers acting on our instructions:

• Apple — subscription sales and billing.
• RevenueCat — subscription status management.
• Anthropic — generating analysis, and reading uploaded bet slips.
• Microsoft Azure — our servers and database.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and analytics.
• Resend — the launch waitlist.
• Meta — website advertising measurement, only if you accept the cookie banner.

7. Hosting and international transfers

Our servers run on Microsoft Azure. Some of our providers — including Microsoft, Anthropic, Apple and RevenueCat — may process data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. How long we keep it

• Account data — while your account is active, then deleted or anonymised within 30 days of a deletion request, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
• Waitlist emails — until the launch announcements are complete, or until you ask to be removed.
• Bet-slip images — not kept after processing.

9. Deleting your account and data

You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing privacy@propmachine.io. We delete it within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@propmachine.io. We aim to respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

11. Age

PropMachine is for people aged 18 or over. The app asks you to confirm your age on first launch. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 — if you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, but we take technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold.

13. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting your rights will be notified by email where we hold your address.
